Purposes, legal basis and retention
If you write to us through the contact form, we process the details you give us —name, email, phone if you include it, type of enquiry, company if you write as a tour operator, subject and message— to answer your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to prepare and confirm your service. When you send it, we email you an automatic confirmation that we have received it.
If you would rather write to us on WhatsApp, the conversation takes place on WhatsApp, a Meta service, and is also governed by its own terms and privacy policy.
We process enquiry data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and customer data to provide the service booked and to meet our legal invoicing obligations.
We keep enquiries that do not become a booking for one year from the first contact. Customer data is kept for as long as the business relationship lasts and, after that, for the periods required by tax law.
We do not use your data to send you advertising.
Cookies and local storage
This site uses no third-party cookies. The only things it stores in your browser are the following, and all of them are first-party:

No analytics or error-monitoring tool is loaded unless you give us express permission. Refusing has no effect at all on how the site works.
Recipients and data processors
The site is hosted on Vercel, which acts as a data processor for hosting and delivering the pages.
If you accept the "error monitoring" category, we use Sentry to alert us when something breaks on the site. Sentry receives absolutely nothing without that permission: without it, its code is never even downloaded to your browser. Reports are processed in its European Union region, store nothing in your browser, do not include your IP address, and are stripped of anything you have typed into the form before they leave your device.
To deliver the messages sent through the form we use Resend, which sends the emails from its European Union region (Ireland), and we receive them in a Gmail account, a Google service.
The site shows reviews of Hucar Bus published on Google Maps. To fetch them, our server asks Google: your browser does not connect to Google and we send it none of your data. Each review shows its author's name and profile photo, as they published them on Google. Google processes that data under its Privacy Policy.

International transfers and retention
Sentry processes error reports in its European Union region, so monitoring involves no international transfer of data.
Still to be drafted.The position of the other providers —hosting, email delivery and Gmail, which may process data outside the European Economic Area— and the safeguards that apply in each case are still to be documented.
Your rights
The General Data Protection Regulation gives you the following rights over your personal data:
- Access: to know what data of yours we process.
- Rectification: to correct anything inaccurate.
- Erasure: to ask us to delete it.
- Restriction: to ask us to stop using it without deleting it.
- Objection: to object to a particular processing.
- Portability: to receive it in a format you can take elsewhere.
- To withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
